Cleator is an amazing animal - and I tell him so everyday!  He is smart and funny.  He will walk around with his food bowl in his mouth when it's empty.  Cleator is in his glory when someone will throw the ball for him.  His build is stocky and stout.  He is extremely strong.  He is the alpha of our little pack!  Cleator demonstrates both good nose and soft mouth Springer traits. 

We recently aquired some chickens.  Well, when they were small chicks it was very cold outside.  The chicks were kept in the office in the house with a nice warm light on them.  The dogs were facinated by them, of course.  One evening one of the chicks must have gotten on the side of the tote they were being kept in.  Cleator decided he better let us know by carring this poor chicken out to the family room in his mouth.  Thank goodness Cleator has very soft mouth!  The chicken was fine! :)
